Rotel RSX-1056 (need remote)

I've done a passive search for options to have full remote control capacity for this receiver but haven't found anything ironclad other than finding the RR-1050 original remote that was included with it when new. The remote is a tad expensive to purchase and I am looking for a lower cost alternative. I have an iPhone 4 and wondered if it would be possible to use it with an appropriate app to get full control of the receiver's setup menu (not accessible from the front panel). In Rotel's wisdom they designed it with a lot of buttons on the front, but none that actually allow you to do anything with the receiver's settings.

I can live without having the convenience of an everyday remote control, but I really need to get into the settings of the AVR and change a few things so I can use it.

The second option is the cheapest I've seen. I did find an original for about $50 plus shipping.

If you can get a URC 50 for $50 shipped it's a great bargain. I pretty much use that remote for everything AVR, BD Player, Roku, TV, etc. They were going for $150.

I really don't even want to spend $30. I will if I have to, but I'm not going to spend much on this. The receiver isn't exactly perfect.
