Here it goes :(
Purchased a Rotel RSX 1056, in January, completely in love with it, amazing sound, superb built.
Here's the problem I have just started noticing when I play something in DTS, Dolby Digital etc... when I try to turn on Cinema EQ (I think it also happens when changing dynamic range), on or off I hear a loud popping/cracking sound comes out of my speakers, something like static discharge, it only happens while DVD is playing, when on pause it doesnt happen.
Also when on loud levels 70 up when you bring the volume up you can hear the cracking as well.

Makes me wanna cry...

BTW
I have a furman current filter, and using Monster Coaxial cables for DVD player.

These sounds, happen during volume changing? And stops when the volume is set to a position?
Happens during mode change only, with DVD running, and stops when the new mode is set?

It sounds like it is loosing signal loss at those conditions and not muting fast enough or at all.
