Hello my name Leonel (in case it wasn't obvious

), and I am currently looking to replace my existing setup, which consists of a Denon 3808ci, and Outlaws M2200's.
The Outlaws are fine, but there are some things that I do not like about them, the biggest one is a static like noise that eminates through the speakers. The noise is extremely noticable when the amps are in standby mode, and can be heard during silent passages of a movie when listening at close to reference levels.
As for the Denon, it is a great receiver, but I am looking for something a little different. I like the form and function that a dedicated pre/pro has to offer, and unfortunately, the AVP1 is not within reach, and to be frank, has more than I am looking for atm. Personally, I do not use Audyssey, or any kind of automatic room correction devices, as I prefer using something like a BehringerDCX2496 to integrate multiple subs, and smooth out the in room FR, alongside REW. I also have someone who works on my audio, and has equipment that has the potential to bring out the nuances that programs like Audyssey just cannot provide (atleast those found in AVR's today). I will not delve further into this, as I know that these are just my opinions to a degree, and will in fact vary from individual to individual.
Getting back to Rotels current line, it seems that the amount of information on this pre/pro is extremely limited. Unlike the AVR that are mass produced, Rotel has very limited information as to the feature set of thier components, which strikes me as odd.
Are there any owners, those familiar with this pre/pro that would be willing to chime in, and give their thoughts of what the pros and cons of the 1570 are/would be in comparison to other pre/pros in this price range would be?
I am basically in the preliminary stages of all of this, as I am revamping my entire system. I was thinking of pairing the 1570 with the 1565, or maybe even the 1575, and adding a 1572 later on to power the mains.
As far as the room is concerned, it is not a dedicated listening area. It is in fact my living room, which is 18x12x8, which is for the most part untreated. I was very particular in the furniture that went into the room though, as I chose Roman shades, plush pillows that line the leather sofas, and a nice sized area rug. I am going to be looking into room treatments that offer seamless integration.
Reason why I am providing this information, is in hopes that I would be able to get away with the 1565 to power the CC, and surrounds, and then add the 1572. I know more is always better when it comes to power, but that doesn't always agree with the wallet, especially when you are upgrading more than just one component.
As for the speakers, I will be powering VA's Grand line of Mozarts, Maestro, and Haydens.
I am open to any and all suggestions.
Thanks.
Leonel
