It features balanced and unbalanced inputs as well as a 12V trigger and plenty of juice to drive the most demanding home theater components, especially low impedance speakers. We took a look under the hood of this amp and liked what we saw. This RMB-1095 delivers on its promises and supports the internals to perform as advertised - with room to spare. So, just out of curiosity- how does the Rotel 5 channel stack up against the Sherbourn 5 channel amp? I've been looking seriously at both of these amps and the Sherbourn 5/5210 seems to be slightly more versatile, although also more expensive.

Bryan...looking for more juice...

Rotel Reviews

I'm glad to finally see a Rotel review on this site, especially with the positive review. :)

I have a Rotel 1068 pre/pro and 1075 amp (baby brother of the 1095) and have been very happy with these components...

Any chance more Rotel reviews are forthcoming?

Coz

I'm saving for a Parasound Halo multichannel amp that i'm planning to buy in June, but i will certainly give a shot to the Rotel, it seems supremely well constructed. It costs the same as the Parasound Halo two channel amp. I don't know if the differences between Parasound and Rotel would be audible, but now my pockets are burning because i can afford this baby (the Rotel).

I had the oportunity to hear the Parasound (two-channel) and my trouser almost fell down when i put the Dream Theater's Awake album. It Definitively sounded better than my Yammie RXV1400. I know there's a controversy between the sound of amplifiers but i have to say that at least between the receiver and the power amp the differences DO exist, specially in the lower end of the spectrum.

It would be nice to see a "mano a mano" test between these two (Parasound vs Rotel).
