Rotel RA1570

Hello audiophiles.
I recently ordered the Rotel RA 1570 intergraded amplifier that I will use with my Polk Audio RTIA7 speakers.
I used to drive the Polk with a 5.1 receiver RXV485. No complaints with the receiver but I believe that I will get a pure 2 channel sound quality with the Rotel.

I would appreciate your input for this audio set up and I was wondering if I need to change my speakers in that case.

If by pure you mean the Rotel is only capable of 2ch, maybe The Rotel has a bit more power and a slight advantage in that respect. In 2ch mode the Yamaha should be quite good, though they're not particularly comparable units. In general sound quality is in the speakers/room interface rather than the electronics...

Yes, I know, that's what I said....it is only 2ch capable. Cost is 5x the Yamaha, too.

I bought the Rotel from eBay, it’s refurbished and costed me $697.
i hope it workswell.
