ROTEL Clearance Sale

I am in the market for a 5-channel amp and just bought one from a hi-fi store. They told me that Rotel is changing its product line, and they are offering a big discount on the RMB 1075 and RMB 1095. The 1075 (120 X 5) was only $749!!! At $999 it was a no-brainer compared to competitors but at $749 it is wickedly cheap!! Needless to say, I scooped one up ... ordered mine in black as opposed to silver. The 1095 was on sale for $1699, but is way too much power than I need (200 x 5).

I know that Rotel is intro-ing a new 1500 series line, so it's clearing out the older models. So if you have ever considered a Rotel AMP, now is the time to buy before they are gone.

I wanted to try to get the most from my speakers, so that's why I added the Rotel. The Klipsch are very efficient speakers, but I read many reviews that adding an amp brought out the best and a more dynamic range. I'll let ya know when it's hooked up. Much of the equipment is still in boxes, awaiting the arrival of a cabinet that has now been delayed until mid-November (UGH). I always heard wonderful things about Rotel and when I heard it in te store with some Def Tech speakers, I went "WOW!.

Great deal. IIRC, I paid about $900 for my 1075 last year. It's been a good, solid amp even running my 4 ohm Dynaudio. It should be a breeze driving the Klipsch.

That's a good deal on Rotel, but I'd still take an XPA-5 for $799 over it
