I know you can use a Carver Z coupler ( hard to come by on ebay ) , Maybe someone on here knows of a nother company that makes something like it .

There are ways to do it but I am not sure how it would affect the sound quality. The Sony DE series receivers are not known for high quality sound, so in order to keep up with Rotel's better SQ you may want to consider upgrading your receiver as well.

You can use a "line level converter" to hook an amp up to any reciever that dont have pre outs, you can buy one at any car audio shop or even best buy for around $20,a line level converter takes the signal from the speaker outs on the reciever & sends it to a pair of rca jacks which then will accept a power amp,the carver z coupler that is mentioned above is the same thing.
