Hi guys first of all, let me tell you what I have...

PSB Synchrony one speakers
Marantz PM8005 Stereo Amplifier
Marantz UD7007 Disc Player

Im looking for some room correction like the Audyssey in the home theaters..
but for the 2ch world

the closest thing that I found was the ARC2 Software, but I have to send the audio source from my computer.. also is a software not a hardware that can EQ

Audyssey works for stereo, but realize that your tradeoff is that Audyssey will limit the signal going to the speakers. You will want to look in to whats wrong with your room, first!

Traditionally the way to utilize outboard equalizers is to connect them between the pre-amp and amplifier. Fortunately your Marantz has pre-out and amp-in jacks, so you’re in business.

If you’re looking for a hardware device like Audyssey, MiniDSP has some. Fair warning, IIR the automated models are going to cost as much or more as you paid for your Marantz.

As mentioned above, you could get surround receiver with Audyssey and just use it for 2Ch - nothing wrong with that
Or as mentioned mini-dsp offers both Dirac and "manual" PEQ models.
The good news is while Dirac costs almost like new receiver, a regular minidsp in box is fairly easy to setup with REW integration and Umic microphone the calibration process is fairly well documented.

And yet again, to reiterate, in the spirit of "The Department of Redundancy Department".
From a practical standpoint:
(If you are starting from scratch) An AVR with Audyssey (or, maybe, the Yamaha and Pioneer equivalents) is by far the least expensive option to get a good implementation of an automated EQ system. You really are not paying extra for the additional channels of amplification and modern AVR's share the amp's capabilities such that, if you run them in stereo, the two channels have access to the resources that would normally go to the additional channels.
If you price AVR's against stereo receivers, you will see that you don't save much at all by going stereo (though there are other reasons you may prefer stereo), and from a feature standpoint, you cannot begin to compete with stereo gear. Such is the benefit of mass production - not that many buying stereo gear as opposed to having a TV in every room.
Since you already have an amp you are happy with, that makes the $ issue a little different.

Of course, if you have to buy a new AVR, that also equates to the expense of buying a miniDSP as Wayne mentions above.

The Yamaha Aventage gen models allow the YAPO measurements to be copied to GEQ and adjusted as PEQ filters. The only down side is the center frequencies are fixed. You can play to your hearts content, if you screw up, copy over YAPO measurements and start over. A nice way to educate yourself on setting up PEQ filters.

Use RoomEQ Wizard with a USB mic and you have the start of a fun, frustrating, rewarding and educating journey.

While this is obvious, so called room correction software doesn't correct the room. So I would recommend actually addressing the issue by employing actual room treatment.

While EQ can moderate certain problems, it doesnt solve any of them.
