Room back wall ideas

My basement is semi finished and has an open 12 x 37 room, but then there is a kitchen 20 feet back. What I would like to do it's build a dedicated theater room in the 20 x 12 space.
What's the best option to make a wall for a home theater?will acoustic curtains be enough by them selves?

I would build a regular Sheet Rock wall w/ Acoustic Wall Panels for "sound absorption"

That was my first idea, but then I got thinking about how we might put curtains anyway.
I like the wall idea better. How would I've best standard up/fatten a temp wall like that
