I always wanted to see this movie, even though i had heard bad reviews of it. It's on sale at Best buy this week for $3.99. So I bought it and watched it.

All I can say is it is definately one of the worst, crappiest, stupidest, poorly acted and directed turds of a movie I have ever seen. In short, it really sucked bad. Even worse, I'm out four dollars and change and wasted an hour and a half of my life.

If you haven't seen it, don't. If you're at best buy and say, "wow, that's only $3.99, I think I'll check it out," don't. If someone offers to give/loan it to you, don't. It's that bad.

I completely disagree. I thought it was way worse than that.

So you bought a Rob Zombie movie, that was 3.99, and were expecting it to be anything but a steaming pile of garbage?

So what you're really saying is...that it was enjoyable and you would recommend it?

Sorry...I just can't gauge your impressions of the movie from your post...a little too...vague.

Excellent point.

I knew the movie wasn't going to be good going into it, and I was OK with that for $4. Personally, I consider Rob Zombie to be a talented individual and have always wanted to see this movie (I actually thought it was going to be a zombie movie). But,...I had no idea it would be that bad.

I thought HOTC was awful, but I really liked The Devil's Rejects, and the DTS-ES track was excellent as well.

zombie

Zombies first movie was a bit hoaky, but the sequel Devils Rejects was a pretty good B film with a rocking soundtrack. Def not a family or date movie thou!

I've got to agree. While house of 1000 corpses pretty much sucked I thought Devil's Rejects was pretty good. graphic and violent as h*ll but like a car wreck i kept watching it. One of those movies where not one character has a single redeeming quality.

Compare and contrast

I saw HOTC and thought it was Texas Chainsaw with MTV video flare. I've heard that DR was better, was it more graphic than Hostel? Better situations?

house of 1000 Corpses was terrible. Devil's Regects was good though. Good turn around. The only thing about the House of 1000 Corpses I liked, were the menu's. I heard today that Zombie is going to do a remake of Halloween.

1000 Corpses: I thought it was terrible. It was perhaps one of the worst horror movies I have ever seen.

Devil's Rejects: I thought it was excellent. Perhaps one of the best horror movies I have seen in the last few years.

Devil's Rejects stands completely on it's own. I do not recommend watching 1000 Corpses for any reason other than being paid to do so.

I liked the opening scene in 1000 Corpses, which would amout to about the first 10 minutes, however it just went to crap after that.

I only watched HOTC since it was the prequel to Devils Rejects, but I watched DR first.
