That's a huge deal.
Cronkite was the prototypical news anchor.
Even my memories of him are a bit distant; but it's sad to see him pass.

I'll miss him. He was a great news reporter and seemed like a genuinely good person.

He was from St Joe, MO, about an hour north of me. I remember studying him in school, but alas, I was too young when he was in the news to appreciate anything about him. I do respect what he did though, and hope he rests in peace.

Awesome Journalist!

Just wanted to say that he will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his friends and family. RIP Waler-you truly are one of a kind!
