She lived a great life though. Went on to do important things after being a child star and was huge. Used to love all of her movies. RIP Shirley.

I remember those commercials promoting a LP with songs she recorded for her movies as a kid. RIP.

I didn't know she was still alive. Figured she'd died tragically. I can't imagine peaking at 10.

She actually ran for congress but did not make it, after which she served as a US ambassador for a few different countries. That's what I meant by child star who did something afterwards...she didn't just do nothing once her fame ended.
