RIP Mickey. I've seen him in sooooo many things.

I've never watched any of the Andy Hardy movies. I think it's time to put this on my list of movies to watch; they stream on Amazon. According to the NYT article, Rooney made 15 Hardy movies from 1937 to 1944 which made $75 million which isn't bad in an era when tickets cost all of 25 cents. I wonder what pop corn cost during the Depression . . .

One of the greats who lived a full life and married one of the most desired women at the time, Ava Gardner. Great comic timing, decent singer and dancer as well. RIP
