I was a little kid, introduced to her by my beatnik uncle who had traveled in India and smoked pot and she was my first female singer crush. Peter, Paul and Mary, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Miles Davis and Alan Ginsburg all contaminated my little heartland ears. I was never the same. Thank heaven.
