RIP Air Coryell

Truly a sad day for me. I know I'm a bit of a homer being a Bolts fan, but Don Coryell was truly an innovator and one of the best football coaches of all time. He and Bill Walsh changed the game.

Maybe now he'll FINALLY get elected to Canton.

I had the opportunity to see a number of Chargers game from the upper deck. His pass patterns for the receivers always seemed to flow better than other teams. It still amazes me that that offensive minds have not gone back and studied his "tree" pass offense more.

I enjoyed the Air Coryell circus as well, some of my favorite Monday night football games, He was a class act RIP Coach.
