New to the forum... Hoping some of you may help. I'm setting up my pansonic VT25 with my Onkyo TX-SR608 (cable box to receiver, receiver to TV, via HDMI). I activated the Onkyo's RIHD in order to watch TV using just the TV's native speakers (with the Onkyo on standby). But, everytime I turn on my TV, the Onkyo receiver also automatically turns on. I then have to manually turn off the receiver in order to just use the TV's speakers as volume.
Any ideas on how configure so that the Onkyo receiver doesn't automatically turn on when I turn on the TV?
