Not sure if this would be better placed in the "Displays & Projectors" or "DIY" areas, but...
I want to get an output from a DVD player (or my PS2), both of which are providing an RGB signal over a SCART connector, and input it into a standard computer LCD monitor.
I've found the following:

It appears to do everything required, including scaling.
Has anyone used this unit, and is it any good?
Also, given my love for saving cash by taking the DIY option, does anyone have any schematics to do the same?
