RG6: Quad shield or no?

First post, please try to go easy on me. I've done a good deal of searching and reading and am still not 100% certain what I need.

I'm looking to run several 50' coax cables in a basement I'm in the process of finishing. Short term it will be used for satellite television (Dish, if that matters), and eventually standard cable television once our contract expires in 18 months. I want to make sure I'm running the proper cable since this is the one time I can do this.

I picked up a spool of RG6 (75Ohm, 95% braid) from home depot (can't post a link yet or I would)

A coworker stated that I need to go with a quad shield RG6 cable instead, however from what I'm reading that may not necessarily be true.

Can someone weigh in on this?

Much appreciated.

Non-quad shield is fine in locations where you don't have electrical noise nearby. Just don't use the screw-on F connectors.
