RF with a Harmony 659 remote?

Would this work with the above remote?

All of my equipment is in the front of the room but my projector is, of course, in the back. When I select an activity involving the projector the IR signal isn't turning on the projector which then requires me to turn it on individually with the remote. This defeats the whole purpose of the one touch activities on the Harmony remotes. I don't really want to buy another remote.

Projector is an Infocus 4805.

Just re-read the article. It sounds like it would work but I'm a little suspicious when it is said that 'all remotes emit low level RF' and the battery contraption listens for it. Nonetheless there must be something to it because it is not the first device of its kind I've seen.
