Decided to make room measurements. I got Dayton UMM6 measuring mike.

I looked into the REW website, which was quite detailed. I'm Looking for links with simpler steps on how to setup and go about measuring.

I'm not sure there are any step by step guides other than the REW PDF setup guide. Have you looked at that?

Otherwise, you can just post your questions here or in the REW forum and they/we/I can help.

Do you currently have the mic? Have you downloaded the correction file? Do you have REW downloaded?

I have the mike. I also have downloaded REW software. If no simpler guides then I guess will have to go through the PDF.

What is this correction file?

You should have been provided with a link or something to download a mic correction file. You're not going to get very far in terms of accurate results without it. In the meantime you also need to make a correction file for your soundcard. What computer do you have?

See AustinJerry's guide. It's easier to follow than the manual.
On first glance, this looks like exactly what I need! :)
Will go through this later.

I had a look at this much earlier. Since I wasn't aware of what I need to do, the tips here didnt really help me much.
I think I can get back to this after reading AustinJerry's guide.
