Uhhhhh...

While I certainly don't disagree with your assessment regarding the lack of integrity within the media, I would like to point out the the model used for the the atom is somewhat dated: those orbitals shown are really more shells or "clouds" than they are rings or "orbits".

The model shown is well over 2,000 years old so it should be a bit outdated, but please remember the cloud concept is based on not being able to pinpoint location rather than an actual cloud. If we could pinpoint location then it wouldn't be a cloud and it still falls under the small being the "same" as the large that the Athenians adhered to. All this, of course, is dependant on believing in causation, which is merely a figment of the mind.
(This is my first post. Where's the spell check on your forum? If there is no spell check I am not responsible for spelling and, in fact, may intentionaly misspell words just for the fun of it.)

You guys rock when it comes to reviews. I have been a long-time reader of Sound and Vision and Home Theater magazines. I let my subscription to S&V run out a while back and will probably do the same when HT comes due again. Their articles seem to be getting less and less informative, while your articles keep getting better and better. The most recent issue of HT I received is a perfect example. They "reviewed" the Yamaha RX-V2500. They put it and a Klipsch speaker system in the same review. There were about 4 sentences pertaining to the 2500. It seems like the paper magazines only want to tell you about the new $5000 and up A/V gear. I would think the average reader does not spend $50,000 putting together these high end pieces. You guys report on a wide range of gear, including the stuff the average person can afford. The detail you provide in your reviews rarely leaves me with questions, unlike the magazines I read. Lets face it, a lot of us rely on reviews when making purchases. The magazines no longer give a person the information they need in making an informed decision. Your reviews give someone much more information and allow easy discussion in the associated forums. Keep up the good work.
