I'm a composer / producer and I recently had an experience with this company, so I thought I would write a review about them.
I placed an order with Ready Acoustics in MN on July 1st 2011. I was given a 10 day lead time for collection. I waited three weeks but there was a mixup, and the owner wrote me a very nice apology and offered to include $500 of free panels to make up for the lost time which I thought was very good and honest.
Unfortunately then I waited several more weeks and finally found out there was some delay because the owner was arguing with the shipping company. When I got the emails I saw where the mix up had occurred. But I wrote to the owner, Mr. Joel Dubay, and I said alls fine as long as the panels can get shipped. This was now September 12th. Unfortunately Mr. Dubay wrote back and cancelled my order saying he did not need it.
It is now November 18 and I still haven't gotten my money back. Yesterday he gave me back $1000 to my PayPal account, but am still waiting for the rest ($1175 still owing).
My experience with this company has been therefore needless to say, very negative. I unfortunately cannot give any informed opinion as to the panels because I never received any - they never shipped. In my experience, this company became extremely rude, threatening and belligerent, and are engaging in dishonest business practices by refusing to refund the full amount of my money. They also have a 100% money back guarantee posted on their site but as you can see in my case that promise has not been met as of yet.
So in conclusion this is not a company I can recommend at all, in fact I would say buyer beware. There are many alternatives out there.
