Review Bose and Monster

It's a well known fact that a few resident Audioholics have a disdain for certain brands based on personal experience or marketing practices.

Why not review some Bose speakers and Monster amplifiers in order to objectively determine the performance of these components and find out if they stand on their own and deserving of their asking prices?

I'd appreciate an unbiased opinion. The numbers won't lie.

Since time and money considerations limit the amount of products that can be reviewed, I'd really hate to see both precious commodities wasted on reveiws of those brands.

Not only that, but after they already get ripped on here constantly, I don't think any company in its right mind would send a product here to be reviewed. Monster sent some plain ol' speaker cable a long time ago, and a power conditioner. Both were positively reviewed. However, I believe Bose has already been asked, and they outrightly refused (just digging up dusty memories that may or may not be true).

Now that's hardly fair. A few bad apples shouldn't spoil everything.

Most of us have outright contempt for the brands you mention. It's just a few weak-kneed wimps who stop at mere disdain.

LOL! And I'm no wimp!

Just thought it would be interesting, but probably more akin to making a movie about the Titanic...we all know it ends, and it ain't pretty!
