I have two 2 channel systems in my office - the M20s (desk) and the F30s. The M20s do have fantastic bass for a monitor, but I was wondering if I can leverage the woofers in the F30s to enhance it a little. What I'm thinking of doing is:
-Preamp Full-range out --> Amp1 --> speaker selector --> M20s and F30s (only one of them playing at any time).
-Preamp Sub out -> RCA splitter --> Amp2 --> F30s (this would play with M20s, Amp2 would be off otherwise)
Do you see any issues with trying this out? The F30 would have the shorting straps in place with speaker wire in both binding posts. But, any given time, only 1 pair of speaker wires to the F30s would be live. Is that a problem? What if I accidentally have both live?
