After careful consideration, a shrinking tape collection, and a lack of space for my center channel speaker in my bedroom system, I decided to retire my old Pioneer CT-S607R I bought when I was in high school. It seems as though Pioneer doesn't have the parts I need to restore the deck (new heads, rec level pot), so I figure I'll give it to my dad to see if he wants to use it in his basement. It's still in great shape for its age. It was a hard decision to make. Anybody here have a hard time letting go of their old electronics? It's funny to be sentimental over something like that. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend.
