After tons of fake trailers being out seemingly forever looks like we've finally got a real one.

For me, the release of Resident Evil was when video games really started getting good. That game scared the crap out of me and was hella fun to play. Now video games are more like playing movies. My wife comments on this every time she sees me playing something. She misses the days when video games were simple like Centipede but I love how cinematic video games are these days.

Definitely one of my all time favorite series. 4 and 5 were excellent, so I'll be getting this one for sure also.

I wasn't too into 4. That's when the monsters changed from traditional "zombies" to just infected people. I think 2 was my favorite. I can't remember the plot of 3.

4 is considered by many to be the best in the series. It is the one with the "Las Plagas" infection. Since that trailer shows the same elements and characters from 4, then you might not like this one either.
