Hi guys my Marantz sr7000 has been reading "copy" at the bottom of the display for a little while now. The damn thing wont go away regardless of what input i select. I searched the manual but there is no mention of the word "copy" as a display option anywhere.
The sound has definatly been affected since it has been saying it. I have to turn the volume far louder than I should to get the same level of sound. I'm afraid I may be hurting the reciever in the meantime.
Anyone ever heard of this problem? I called marantz and they said I should restore it to factory defaults. Which i would be glad to try I just dont have my instruction book and they didnt know how to do it (nice when the company doesent know whats wrong with thier product).
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
