Hey folks, Not sure if this is the right place for this post. But wanna know what does "Reserviced" mean in eshopping terms. I saw a few good deals online but some of them have a label against them, saying reserviced. Is it something like refurbished?

Now, that's a new term to me.

lemme see, if someone returns a unit 'cause it doesn't work, they will service it, repack it and sell it as a refurb, I would think.

At that point, I would consider it "serviced" since it was serviced only once.

I'm loathe to suggest what reserviced might mean.

'Reserviced' is similar to 'previously enjoyed' except the item is probably held together with bondo and has two or more paint colours on it.

I had a '72 duster that was reserviced several times.
