Thanks in advance for your time.
I am looking for tech help in finding a matching powered subwoofer for my Sharp XLHF102B micro component system.
I understand that this isn't really a top end audiophile worthy system, but it does the job really well and I am very happy with it.
Accordingly, the match would a subwoofer with a price ceiling of $100-150.
The subwoofer out is rated at 200 mV / 10 kOhms @ 70 Hz.
I am a little lost and would appreciate the opportunity to benefit from your technical expertise.

For that price you're pretty much looking for a bass module, rather than a subwoofer. If you want something that fulfills the sub part of subwoofer, this Monoprice sub is generally regarded as excellent for the money, but shipping puts it at $130. If you listen to any electronic music or use your system for movies, that additional cost of a single tank of gas will more than be outweighed by the performance you gain.

If your $100 ceiling is absolute, then get a Dayton SUB-800. Pad your order another $11 with a subwoofer cable or an fmod or something for free shipping.

Hi Rojo,
Thanks for your response. I should have mentioned $100-150, but my phone died on me. I saw a Yamaha and a Polk Audio within that range, both powered. Any thoughts? I am checking out your suggestions too.
Also, I need to mention, I am using this system solely for music. I listen to Jazz, Rock, and classical vocals.
