Replacing JBL L-150 with JBL L-65 and Powered Subwoofer?

I have had my JBL L-65's in storage and would like to switch them out with my JBL L-150's I'm currently using. I've been told that I'll be losing a lot of bottom end. If I incorporate a Powered Subwoofer to run with my L-65's would this be a net gain in my total sound? I'm a big fan of the 077 Tweeters in my L-65's and was hoping to not lose any bottom end.

Don't see why your bottom end would be significantly different between the two looking at the info available. I've only heard the L-65, though, a neighbor had a pair, I really liked them! I'd add a sub for sure with either, but that's me.
