repair question from a neophyte

Questions questions questions...

I have a monsoon 3.1 (whoofer, two tweeters) PlanerAudio 7 computer speaker set, and well it is having troubles.

It seems that the "Control Center" (the pod that controls volume, bass, and muting) is connected to the main transformer (amplifier and reduction) board by a 7 pin serial I guess is what you would call it.

It seems the female end of that is what is screwed up, and so it is on a wiggle and listen basis only now.

I am decently... proficient with a soldering iron and circuit boards, so I am wondering if anybody can point me to a part number for this part I would be bursting with thanks.

Isn't the female end on the sound card?
I'd contact whoever makes the card, and tell them what's happening. They may send you a new one. They may not, but it don't hurt to try. All they can say is no.
A loose connection like that sounds like a solder joint may have broken, which may fall under the workmanship of the card..................
