Remote Control Sensor Question

I am thinking of purchasing a Samsung HL-R5667W DLP set, and the only problem I can see is that I will have to place my center channel in the front and center of the tv which will block the remote sensor. Is there any kind of device I can use that will allow me to still keep the center in front of the tv and be able to use the remote sensor? Is ther any kind of extender or relay that would be simple and inexpensive? I can't put the center channel on top of the tv, and there is no room to put it below or to the sides of the tv. What can I do?

I have a Yamaha RX-V1600 receiver if that makes a difference.

I found something that I believe will work.

Well I emailed Yamaha about the frequency of their remotes, and it looks like their frequency is below that of the repeater's capabilities. I guess my search continues. Yamaha's remote frequency is 36 to 38kHz. if anyone cares.

I need something like this that is compatible with the Yamaha's remote.

Next Gen RF remote extender

You might try the RF remote extender which can be bought at parts express. For about $60, it would convert your universal remote to RF and the receiver will beam the IR codes to your gear with a transmitter or individual eyes on the front of each device.
