Remote control receiver angle workaround?

<font color='#000000'>I just bought a Pioneer A/V receiver and have it on a shelf at a 90* angle from my seating position. &nbsp;The manual says it can only receive from a 30* angle either left or right. &nbsp;Do you guys have any suggestions on a workaround. &nbsp;Maybe a small mirror mounted next to the Infrared receive point? &nbsp;Any ideas could help.</font>

<font color='#000080'>Mirror would work, as would probably reaching your arm out. The only rule is &quot;line-of-sight&quot;, so play around with some things along that vein of thinking.</font>
