We've been up and running since November 2008 and started this club for all who love music and the many forms of recording and reproducing it. We're interested in 2-channel as well as multi-channel audio and video. Our next meeting is this coming Sunday, May 17th from 2-5pm. and will feature a vintage tube amp shootout versus one of the finest Cary integrated tube amps from recent years. How will the vintage amps fair against today's technology?
The vintage 60's integrateds are the 24WPC Fisher X-100B and H.H. Scott 299C rated at 72WPC. The Cary CAD75I 75WPC is a KT-88 based integrated pared with a new Rogue Audio Perseus pre-amp.
