As long as you have the same video input on the TV as the video output on the DVD player, then yep. You probably have at least a couple of different choices.

Is this the Pioneer DV-333? Also, what TV do you want to connect it to?

Well, your DVD player has outputs for component video, composite video, and s-video. You should be good to go as far as being able to connect it to a new TV.

The DVD player doesn't upscale or even do progressive scan (i.e. 480p), but that doesn't mean that the picture will be bad. That will depend on how well the TV does the upscaling and, if required, the deinterlacing.
