Refinishing speaker Case?

Not even sure of the term, but I have a pair of Totem Mites in black. Is there a way I can refinish the outside? The outside is a bit worn and i don't like the dull black anymore.

Any ideas would be great.

It looks like a sprayed finish on the black ones, so you could respray them any finish you like.

you have a lot of options, if you want a sprayed finish and don't want to do it yourself, remove all the components and take the "enclosures" to an autobody shop picka color and have them done... If you want wood take them to a local cabinet maker and get them veneered...

Ah, both great ideas. I don't feel comfortable disassembling it so i may just spray the outside

Or you could buy some vinyl decal material any color you want.... ORACAL 651 Intermediate Cal Vinyl 24" x 50 Yard Roll you could get enough to do your speakers for around $10 from any local lettering shop, super easy to do, my son did his bookshelfs by himself and they came perfect, exacto knife, spray bottle with water, soap, and alcohol, and a felt squegee.. Spray the sides of the cabinet start in a corner lay on the vinyl, squegee out the water and boubles, and move on, cut it down the last corner, lay a peice on top, cut out your speaker holes, and your done... then if you ever want to sell them just peal it off with a hair dryer...
