Reduce floor vibration?

I just moved into a new condo and I want to reduce the base vibration from my 12" floor Cerwin-Vegas. I'm not so worried about the walls, just the floor and my downstairs neighbors. Are there effective solutions? The cheaper the better too :)

Foam, rubber, spikes. Parts Express .com has spike kits for around $16. Stopping the vibration doesn't stop the bass frequencies from travelling through the walls/floor though.

Thanks for the quick reply. My condo actually has a false floor with about 1ft of space between my hardwood and the neighbors ceiling. So my guess is that frequency is a bigger issue than vibration. I can't imagine an easy solution for dampening frequency. Any solutions?

I can't think of any easy solutions off hand, aside from going with speakers that don't extend as deep or using the tone controls to dial out some bass, neither of which may be good solutions.... Maybe pumping the floor with as much or as heavy of an insulation might help, but that isn't easy and probably not real cheap.

I hate to give the bad news, but the only solution is to turn down the volume to a point where it wont bother your neighbors. The only method of soundproofing a room involves room construction, and since you're in an apartment and unable to tear the place apart to rebuild.... you're out of luck. Acoustical treatments like the sub-platform above do have their acoustical values, but acoustical treatments like those should not be mistaken for 'sound proof' treatments. It will have no soundproofing value whatsoever as your neighbors are concerned.

I need to agree with buckeye_nut. Bass is a bear to isolate.
