Red,White, and Yellow rca cables for preamp to subwooffer connection?

Hi,

I am going to buy a turn table tomorrow in order to play Vinyl records.

I already have a preamp and I expect the turn table to have phono out cables with it.

However, to connect my preamp output to my subwoofer, will the standard red, white and yellow cables work as long as I only plug in the red and white (right and left)?

What is the make and model numbers of your preamp, power amp and sub?

For audio use, the red, white. and yellow are interchangeable and wil lwork fine for connecting your preamp to your sub..
