Finally watched this movie, on Netflix. All I can say, is what a wasted opportunity. The special effects were well done, but the plot and dialogue were cringe-inducing. Terence Howard and Cuba Gooding Jr could have been replaced by mannequins, their acting was so wooden - of course, the scripting didn't give them much to work with.

Then, there was the complete implausibility of several action sequences. Blowing up a locomotive and turning a destroyer into a blazing inferno with a few rounds of .50 cal. just weren't going to happen. I could accept the shooting down of Me 262's as "artistic licence", although the Tuskegee Airman weren't credited with such kills.

I'm glad I never bought the BD.

I passed on this on netflix and my free month subsection ran out early this month. I saw it for free on youtube 16 months ago and skipped though it in about 2 minutes. Even the end credits was boring. I was expecting to see THX logo at the end since it was a Lucasfilm. I was disappointed as well.

Did you notice Luke Skywalker lightsaber from Empire Strikes Back, sound effect cutting into the AT-AT when a planes engine exploded into a fireball?
