Spoiler warning
Overall, it was a pretty good movie and it definately was a thriller.
spoiler warning:
I just didn't like a few comedic touches to a movie that shouldn't have really been that funny. Like how it was taken so lightly when some assasin just shot a rocket launcher into a hotel. If that really happened there would be utter chaos and the FBI would be all over it. Instead the girl at the hotel was asking Rachel McAdams how she should explain this to the manager. Also, I can't believe Rachel McAdams suddently became Uma Therman in Kill Bill and unleashed a smart defense against the guy that was after her (she was throwing chairs in his path and was able to hit him pretty hard with a cane). Also, I can't believe the father acted so non-chalantenly when his daughter just ran over a middle aged man and slammed into his entry hall. Then he managed to shoot the guy
. Also, how did she manage to explain the whole ordeal to the cops (after she stabbed a guy, stole a car, ran over a guy, and shot someone). But all in all, I have to say, its just a movie so I guess I can't expect everything to be realistic. Overall I think the purpose of the movie was kind of weak but Wes Cravin did a pretty good job making it thrilling. Besides some shortcomings, I actually really enjoyed it.
