Seeking ideas for new mid-level AVR with Dirac live room correction that will only be powering center, rear and side surround speakers. My main speakers will be powered by external power amp connected top pre-outs of AVR.

Not sure I have even seen any mid level AVRs with Dirac. That tends to be on upper tier gear and usually on pre/pros not so much on AVRs, though they are out there. Looks to be a list on Dirac's site:

Might depend on what you call mid-level. Budget?

The Pioneer/Onkyo offerings don't get listed for what reason I wonder?

Are there multiple levels of it?

Yes, budget matters, since a decent AVR these days is at least $1.5k vs. $800 years ago, and an average one was $400.

Well the avr application for multich Dirac is a bit different from gear that only offered 2ch application I assume. I see this list in an article at S&V "Onkyo TX-NR7100 ($1,099) and TX-RZ50 ($1,399); Pioneer Elite VSX-LX305 ($1,199) and VSX-LX505 ($1,499); and Integra DRX-5.4 ($2,000) and DRX-3.4 ($1,299) "
