Recommend rear speakers for 7.1?

Can you recommend a pair of in-wall or small rear speakers to use in a 7.1?. These are the rear center pair of surrounds.

These are not ideally located as they will be above windows about 80" at top. So if in-walls hopefully there is some way to aim them down towards the listening position.

I mounted by bookshelves on that wall but the are esthically too big and ruin the balance of the room.

My other speakers are Acoustic Research L,R&C. The two side sorrounds and JBL in-wall (2 way) with 6.5inch woofer and fixed position tweeter.

Any thoughts appreciated and a way to go here.
thanks!

Which model JBL do you have? The current models have swivel tweets. What's the budget and size limitations?

Your right. I see that now. I have the JBL HTI6 on the side walls. ABout in the recommended position.

CAn those be used those in the back also?, considering they are up higher then recommended.....about 82" high and about 5ft in back of the listening position. I thought the speaker might need to aim down. But obviously can do that iwth the inwalls, except for as you point on the tweeter. You think they would work out? I guess its a good thing to match the speakers to the side speakers?

thanks agian

In-walls above the windows may not be feasible, depending on the framing structure and insulation. If so, you could use the HTi6s on their sides. I don't know if you'd be happy with the look of some of the on-wall options. If your side-surrounds are positioned slightly behind the listening position, you may want to stick with 5.1. Are in-ceilings an option?
