Recommend a receiver less than 16.5" deep?

For any who followed my last thread, my old receiver (sig) stopped working and has since been repaired by a friend and is working great. However, its about 17.5" deep including cables and front volume knob and does not fit in my new TV cabinet which was purchased while it was in my buddy's shop.

This is a good excuse to upgrade to a new unit, but it absolutely has to be 16.5" at a max including cables and any front protrusions. I have certainly found manufacturer measurements but I know those won't include cables and I'm unsure if they include volume knobs.

My budget is $350 or less. Airplay/networking is a plus, but size and quality of components is the most important. I'm totally comfortable with accessories4less. Anybody out there with a receiver in this price range that can take some real world measurements or know how manufacturers measure their units?

If it helps, I'm most interested in the Denon AVR-1912 right now.

Thanks in advance everybody!
