I know that the Behringer EP1500 will produce 900W bridged mono, but it costs $300. I can push my budget to $150 if need be.

After looking around for a while now I cant find another amp that compares to the Behringer EP1500, if anyone knows of a amp that knows of an amp less than 300 that will compare.

I don't think there is such an amp, you will have to up the budget or save some dough (ultimately upping the budget, and taking more time.:D). Behringer is about as inexpensive as it gets without being overrated junk. If you get an amp that claims to be rated for 1000 watts for under $300 it is probably an overrated piece of crap, like a Theater Research receiver or something.;):D

It looks like you are doing better than me, you have quite the system assembled there. Nice receiver, nice speakers, nice TV and a great upconverting player.:D It almost seems that everything you got was a recommendation from the forum, even if it isn't. You fit in perfectly.:D

I was originaly going to go with the Axiom Epic Grand, however I auditioned some NHT classic three bookselfs at ListenUp and really enjoyed them. I then came here and saw that they recieved really good reviews so I knew that they were a good deal. :D

As for the reciever, the RX-V569 had some great reviews here so I went looking and found the RX-V661 brand new on ebay for $350 so I jumped on it and Im glad I did.

The Oppo 941HD I specifically bought beause of this forum.

Now all I have to do is get a sub and some surrounds.

For the sub Iv decided to go with a DIY method as you already know. I believe that I will be more satisfied with building my own box and use the TC-7 driver with possibly Behringer EP1500.

For the surrounds I really have no idea, and no money since Im saving all of it right now for the sub. Just another adventure for later

I have to say almost everything I have learned about a home entertainment system has come from audioholics.com and its forum.

Yeah I looked at that amp, however I dont know how well it will work since TC sounds web site says that it should be powered by an amp that can ge between 250-1000W RMS into 8ohms, while the Bash amp provides 500 at 4 ohms.

 I just dont know if this will work, it might, I honestly just dont know
