Reciever for Ascend Acoustics speakers

I just bought Ascend 340 SE's as fronts, http://www.ascendacoustics.com/pages/products/speakers/cmt340m/cmt340m.html , Ascend 340 SE for center, http://www.ascendacoustics.com/pages/products/speakers/cmt340c/cmt340c.html, and Ascend 170 SE's for surrounds, http://www.ascendacoustics.com/pages/products/speakers/cbm170/cbm170.html , and I am planning on buying an HSU VTF-2 MK3 sub, http://www.hsustore.com/vtf-2mk3.html , soon. Now I need you guys advice to help me pick a receiver. HDMI is not that big of an issue for me,
I am mainly looking for sound quality here. I have been eying the Yamaha RX-V659(can get for about $400), RX-V1600(about $600), RX-V1700(about $750), the Denon AVR-887(or 2307, heard they were the same, can get for about $650), and the Denon AVR-987(about $750). Ive also been considering the Pioneer Elite VSX-80TXV adm VSX-81TXV. Yeah I know I have a lot considerations. The cheapest of the bunch seems to be the RX-V659 and the AVR-887. Do the more expensive receivers really have that much better sound quality and worth the more money? Any more recommendations around this price range?? Mainly looking for sound quailty here. Looks like easy load on receivers and not bad sensitivity, 92dB spl, 1m, 1w.You should not have issues with the amps you listed. Sound quality of amps is over rated
