Recievers
Both of those receivers should have no problem with 6 ohm speakers. If you like to crank it up to reference levels, then you might want to invest in an outboard amp for the mains down the road. I would recommend the Yamaha and most find it to be cleaner and more transparent then the pioneer. I have the HTR-5860. In that price range, you should also look for deals on a refurbished RX-V2500 or 1500 on ubid or other sites.
