Receiver With HDMI 1.3

Has anyone heard of any a/v receivers with HDMI 1.3? I talked to a Crutchfield rep how said 1.3 may not be widely released to the consumer market anytime soon.

Any thoughts??

I think Mcdonalds sells more hamburgers than anyome else, but that doesn't make them the best. It just llustrates the powerful effect advertising and name recognition has on the discerning tastes of the great unwashed.

Hdmi 1.3

You will probably hear several new products announced at the CES show in January, but as the article suggests, they wont be available until mid to late 2007. It took so long to release the PS3 because the chips were not in production until recently.

I bet the receiver numbers are skewed by all of the HTIB systems that Sony sells. Bose is also the highest in brand awareness/recognition so what does that say about the average consumer.
