Receiver with audyssey under $500 used

When I bought my sub I decided to upgrade my receiver and focused on getting audyssey xt. I wonder if I should have come to a place like this first to see if there was something I was overlooking? I got a denon 2113ci, is there something under $500 used that would be better for 50/50 music and home theater and why? Or is the 2113 a fine receiver. I don't crank the volume much and will be set up as 5.1.

www.ac4l.com is one of your best bets for finding refurbs for good prices. They include warranties and you can purchase extended as well. I've bought both Marantz and Denon from them in the past.

Nothing wrong with your current avr unless you simply want a particular feature or it lacks connnectivity you need. If your 2113 does what you want for now, it should be fine.

I think the Denon 2113 is fine for most people.
