Receiver help!!

I planing on purchasing the yamaha rx v373 receiver (I will list the specs bellow I just want to no if this receiver will be good enough or is it not enough power I currently have 2 polk audio monitor 60 cs2 center and monitor 30 bookshelfs I just want to make sure I have enough power to handle all the speakers I will list the specs bellow

The power is fine, yamaha receivers are usually pretty good about providing somewhat accurate power ratings. Actual power will be lower than 85 for two channels full range, and actual power all channels driven will be lower as well. Probably 60ish two channels driven and maybe 40-50 for all channels driven. The only problem is that it has no preouts to add an external amp later on. You'd essentially have to double your budget (or what I think your budget is) to about $300-400 to get one with a full set, unless you buy ebay or used.

Give a thought to getting a mid range yam, instead of entry level
I'd say your always going to be pushing the amp quite hard
With decent size spkrs
Maybe try to find a mid range amp from last year, for the same money...
lose a couple of toys (which you'd possibly not even use ) ........but gain some power

Unless you're looking for stupid loud, you should be fine.

But, if that's really what you're looking for, consider the fact that you'll need to double the power to gain a barely audible 3 decibel increase in peak loudness. To double it, you'll need ten times the power.

I'm not looking for extremely loud voice just enough to fill a mid sized room I was also looking at th rx473 it has 575 watts but its 100$ more should I spend the extra 100$ for it

At 8 ohms I would guess that it has closer to 300 watts all channels driven not counting the power needed to run everything else. No, not worth $100 IMO.
