Receiver help

Hey friends, I need a recommendation on which receiver to get. I been doing some research and so far this is the one that seems to be in my price range with what I want: Sony STR DN1020 AV network receiver

Speakers: Sony SS-B3000 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Black)

I am in a fairly small room right now (12ftx15ft) but want something to expand with when I move into a bigger apartment. I currently have a PS3, Digital Cable Box, Turntable, and a LG 42PQ30 Plasma.

I have a budget of about ~500 for a receiver.

I heard a story that the STR-DN1020 is good. But, you may want to download the instructions from Sony and quickly read through them to make sure that this receiver has what you want or need. With the things that receiver makers are sneaking in or removing in terms of features, you don't need any unpleasant surprises.
